TAHLIA M.

Neuroscience Major

TAHLIA M.

Tahlia is a second year Neuroscience major from Clovis, CA. On campus Tahlia is a member of the InterAxon Club, an organization in affiliation with the Brain Research Institute whose mission is to "create and foster interest, excitement and curiosity about the brain" by visiting underfunded and disadvantaged grade schools in the Los Angeles area. Outside of academics, Tahlia loves music, hiking, drawing and painting, surfing, exploring new restaurants, and Disneyland! She is CPR and ABA certified. Apart from her work with Ignite, Tahlia works with children with developmental disabilities as a Behavior Therapist in the West LA area. She loves tutoring because she finds it so important to be able to lead students to be more confident in their abilities—its the best reward she could ask for. She truly believes that each and every student has a special mind that deserves to be recognized, so she always strives to aid her students in undoubtedly recognizing their importance in the world. We would describe Tahlia as motivated, introspective and calm.
