NADIA I.

Nadia is from Pittsburgh, PA. Her dad was raised in Bangladesh, so growing up she would visit there and stop at many countries along the way including Singapore, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and France! Now, as a member of the UCLA community, she has brought these unique experiences to all of her endeavors such as the Life Science Student Association, Learning Assistant Program, Global and Medical Brigades, and The Writer's Den. She has also sought to supplement her studies chosen as a Research Assistant at Dr. Farber's Retinal Lab and Dr. Zhou's Cryo-electroscopy lab. Nadia loves tutoring because of the rewarding experience it brings. She enjoys the reciprocal nature of tutoring, as each time she tutors, she learns more about improving her own teaching practices while helping her students at the same time. Outside of school, Nadia’s other interests include writing, reading, cooking, and exploring nature.
