Architecture and Cognititve Science Double Major

Matthew is a 4th Year double majoring in Architecture and Cognitive Science, minoring in Environmental Systems & Society with a specialization in Computer Science. He is originally from Valencia, CA. On campus, he is very involved, he is a part of the following organizations: the Wooden Athletic Fund at UCLA Athletics in Development Administration, the Director of Design for the Pediatric AIDS Coalition, a Camp Kesem Counselor, a member of a fraternity, and a Strategic Planner for the Bruin Advertising and Marketing Team. He’s an avid tennis player but also loves all things creative. From painting to digital media, Matthew does it all. Not to mention, he loves to cook and create new recipes in his free time. He loves tutoring because it’s a really great way to engage with kids and get them excited about learning! He was a private tutor in high school and has always loved seeing students succeed and overcome/work through any testing anxieties or difficulties they may have. He feels every child is different and creating an environment that highlights their strengths and supports their weaknesses is super rewarding for him. We would describe him as driven, generous, and kind.
