JESSICA H.

Jessica is from San Marcos, CA. She is a junior majoring in Psychology and double minoring in Education Studies and Professional Writing. At UCLA, she is the marketing and finance director of the UCLA undergraduate research journal of psychology. She is a member of the Kappa Delta sorority, a research assistant for psychology labs, and a peer learning facilitator for UCLA athletics. She is very interested in child development, educational equity and mental health. Outside of academics she loves to travel, go to art museums, go to cycling classes and read new books! She loves to tutor beciase she loves to see her student grow notonly as learners, but as individuals. She recognizes how special it is to watch someone begin understanding concepts while also growing in their conficence. She finds it very reqarding to pass on her academic enthusiasm to her students.
