HARRINGTON B.

Harrington is originally from Newport Beach and is currently a second year Economics and Cognitive Science double major. On campus, he is a member of a fraternity, UCLA Rock Climbing Club, and Bruin Real Estate Association. Harrington loves the outdoors and enjoys surfing, rock climbing, sailing, and snowboarding in his free time—he's always looking for adventure. Not to mention, Harrington is also CPR and First Aid certified, in addition to being a US Sailing Level One Certified Coach. Harrington has a true passion for teaching and believes in "learning by doing." He has been able to exercise this passion via various teaching pursuits, including serving as an intensive sailing coach, where he has learned that the best course of action is to identify the point at which a student fails to understand and work from that point onward. Harrington finds it so fulfilling to not only help others academically, but to also foster a love for learning and curiosity. Overall, our team would describe Harrington as patient, independent, and adventurous.
