GABRIELLA M.

Gabriella is originally from San Diego and enjoys hiking, traveling, yoga/spin, surfing and is a major foodie. On campus, she is a member of a sorority, Bruin Women in Business and the Odyssey, an online media platform centering around journalism and blogging. Gabriella is CPR and First Aid certified. She has been an experienced tutor for 4+ years, has done ISEE test tutoring and is Spanish advanced-level fluent. She loves tutoring because she recognizes that learning obstacles are inevitable and can be damaging to a child’s self-esteem. When students receive one-on-one support, their attitude toward learning shifts and their performance reflect their newfound confidence. Her approach to tutoring: understanding how a child’s unique emotional, physical, as well as intellectual state affects their learning.
