DOMINIC S.

Dominic is originally from Stockton, CA. Upon graduation, he hopes to earn his CPA and pursue a career in public accounting. Outside of his rigorous academic schedule, Dominic loves all things outdoors, whether it be surfing, skiing, backpacking or camping. In addition, he loves playing sports from football to basketball—he’s even coached a youth lacrosse team. At UCLA, Dominic has continued to pursue these passions in his free time, and has also been able to foster his love of teaching via a number of outlets such as working as a counselor for Camp Kesem— the largest national organization dedicated to supporting children impacted by a parent’s cancer, at no cost to families. When it comes to teaching, Dominic sees tutoring and mentorship as a means to foster a really special relationship with the students. He finds that his patience and passion for education are instrumental in making learning not only possible but fun for both himself and his students.
