AVERY P.

Avery is a first year from Westlake Village majoring in English, although she in on the Pre-Med track! On campus, Avery is a Quad Intern at the Daily Bruin, a Leadership Development Coordinator for the UCLA Alumni Scholars club and a member of the MEDLIFE club (busy gal). In her free time she loves film, art, photography, writing, fashion, traveling, and the outdoors. In high school, Avery founded a tutoring program that serviced two different middle schools and developed it over the course of three years—even thought graduated, the program has been passed down over the years. Since middle school, tutoring has been one of Avery's greatest passions, not only because of how rewarding it is to see a student progressively grow more confident in a new topic, but also because of the relationship she can build with a student as both a mentor and a friend. We would describe Avery as innovative, creative, outgoing, and dedicated.
