Anna is a second year International Development Studies major and Spanish minor, who grew up in London! On campus, Anna is a member of Kappa, Timmy Global Health and A Day in the Life Tutoring. She loves traveling, painting, drawing, surfing and music. Having experienced both UK and US education systems, Anna has been able to develop a wide range of knowledge when it comes to teaching methods and effective learning strategies. She believes that tutoring isn’t just about raising a student's grades, rather, it is a journey. Anna loves to witness students gain confidence in themselves and begin to truly enjoy learning and education. She finds it immensely rewarding to watch a student understand a topic that they previously struggled with, and to see their improvement first-hand—she loves the close bond that is created via sessions.
