ALLIE B.

Allie is originally from Mill Valley, CA. On campus she is on the Events Committee for Bruin Democrats and is involved in a sorority. Additionally, she volunteers with Bruin Partners via which she tutors middle schoolers. In her free time, Allie loves to run and be outdoors, whether it’s hiking, going to the beach, or anything in between. Allie worked at Mathnasium for three years (she is Mathnasium Instructor Certified), tutoring students K-12 in math. For three years, she also volunteered with Bridge the Gap College Prep, tutoring and mentoring in all subjects, sticking with her clients through numerous years. Not to mention, she is CPR and AED certified. Allie loves working with kids and building a relationship with them. She loves seeing the moment when a concept clicks with a student and they become confident in their knowledge—it’s incredibly rewarding to be able to inspire a kid to enjoy learning.
