GRANT H.
Fourth Year, Materials Science and Engineering Major

Grant is from Arizona! On campus, Grant has done three years of lab research as an undergraduate research assistant, has been the President and a mentor for the engineering school’s mentorship program, and served as a tour guide/ambassador for the school of engineering. He additionally interned at Boeing this past summer. In his free time Grant likes to play corn hole, video games, cook and loves to hike and travel internationally. When it comes to tutoring, Grant enjoys the job because it gives him a chance to help someone with a subject that they are really struggling with and see their improvement as a result of his help. Tutoring is a dynamic puzzle that isn’t one size fits all, so it constantly challenges him to reimagine the concept in a light that the student can better understand regardless of age or experience level. Tutoring is a true passion of his, as he’s been doing it for nearly 5 years now. We find that Grant gets along well with all his students.
